Battlelog Standalone 1.0 released!
Posted on by tehfusion
The first version of our Battlelog Standalone tool has been released! This has been tested to work with the current version of Battlelog, which it fully supports.
Battlelog Standalone is a simple program which provides access to the Battlelog website through a kind of simplified web browser. Its aim is to simplify the process of accessing Battlelog, and save system resources while playing Battlefield 3. The more tabs you have open, and the more extensions you have installed in your web browser, the more system resources you will save by switching to this tool.
Battlelog Standalone supports the Battlelog browser plugin, and also fully supports VoIP and connecting to games. Many people have complained about the game's requirement to use Battlelog, and have stated that they use other web browsers as dedicated "Battlelog viewers". Our program is especially aimed at these people, and we hope it will make using Battlelog a more convenient and enjoyable affair.
A screenshot of this program is included below. If you would like to see more, then check out the screenshots page on our Battlelog Standalone microsite.

First, sorry for my english, I'm french ^^
Second, I've downloaded your standalone program but I'm pretty sad to see that I can't join a party with it cause it doesn't support the battlelog web plugin :/ There isn't the com center and others stuffs :(
sorry, I've loaded your program today and enjoy the fact that the entire battlelog including the com-center are here ^^ that was exactly the thing that I wanted since the release of BF3!! Really nice job thanks a lot
I'm glad to hear it's working for you now. We're working on a big update for Battlelog Standalone, so watch this space! :)
HI
Just want to say you guys are doing a great job to bad you dont have a forums here would be nice abd i guess you would be inundated anyway I will be checking out your software and if it proves its worth I will be letting a lot of people know about it
thanks
Thanks for your feedback! We'll consider creating a community message board in the future. :)
Great idea, but it uses about the same amount of RAM as ie9 (or seems to in task manager).
Thanks for your feedback, Fysis. The exact memory usage varies from one system to another, so Battlelog Standalone may perform better or worse in different cases. We're working on a big update for Battlelog Standalone which may significantly affect its performance, so watch this space. :)
Hiya, if one uses the browser with a lot of tabs open, your battlelog is probably much better. I had a quick look using Opera (my browser of choice) and if i were to use Opera (with my many tabs already open) your Standalne Battlelog has a much smaller footprint.
PS. I love the 'Portable' option rather than the install - great stuff.
Would love to be able to use this, but it doesn't appear to work with the Battlelog voice service.
Shame
with the new battlelog update of the standalone does not work
It still works fine, just jump on your normal browser and download the new plugin. You'll get an error when launching battlelog standalone but it still works fine. The voice has always worked fine for me too btw.
Awesome app. Is there a way to change the font size? ctrl++ isn't working for me. Thx.
Nice ... but the com center is not working :(
Standalone does not work with the newest BF3 R24 and Battlelog updates. Any chance a update to standalone is coming?
Since latest BF3 update Battlelog Standalone does not work anymore!!!
Are you guys going to update it???
Thanks in advance.
What "Str33tb" said.
An update would be appreciated as it's prompting me to download a 'new browser'.
FF, Chrome and IE 9 are the options, thanks anyway.
First problem, it would not accept my BF3 log in information. Requesting to reset my pw I entered the exact identical pw with Origin and viola, Battlelog appears.
It looks nice and crisp however, problem 2:
Y'all tellin' me my IE9 browser, which includes the latest WinUpdate from 2 hours ago,is out of date, soldier? For the benefit of the doubt given your program, I ran an IE9 install which tells me no upgrade is required.
Now someone, either your program or MS is either dramatically wrong or this is a cheap attempt to push an alternative to Chrome or Firefox which I absolutely refuse to do.
So I am curious...I would like to use some of these tools but am afraid if there might be any chance at all, of punkbuster saying "LAWL THIS NOOB IS CHEATING" and ban me?
stopped working help me..
