We have been getting a lot of emails and comments recently regarding problems with our BF3 Settings Editor and Battlelog Standalone tools, caused by the recent updates to Battlefield 3 and the Battlelog website.

Rest assured that we have big updates for both of these tools in the works, and they will be released soon. See the screenshot below for a sneak peek of Battlelog Standalone 2.0!

Battlelog 2.0

Battlelog Standalone 2.0 will feature many requested improvements such as the ability to minimise to the system tray, zoom the page, hide the toolbars to maximise space, and more! It will have full hardware acceleration, and will also offer the user a choice of which web browser core to use: the engines of Internet Explorer and Google Chrome will both be available.

Finally, we apologise for the long wait — we have been extremely busy with our various projects!

Looking forward to the new standalone.

V1.0 doesn't work here anymore and i have to say i miss it alot.

I recently started using this pgm and am grateful for a one stop shop so to speak. Thanks. I wonder if you might look at Saitek Pro X52 settings a bit more? I try to use the slider on the throttle for weapons switch and it registers on jets and heli's differently. one is as axis z, and the other is as a pad.....same for fire (trigger on one and button 15 on the other....weird. But when it works it's amazingly better than BF's cumbersome crapola....

Ah yea would you be able to browse the battlefield forums more efficiently in Battlelog Standalone? I mean can you go back to a previous page like you can in a internet browser?

When will you be able to get the dialogue volume feature working? I'd like to eliminate the character voices.

It is indeed great programs you offer, and they help a lot.

Now i know it's for a reason that you don't give an exact date on the release of the new version, but it would be very helpful if you could at least tell us if "very soon" means in a week or two, or in a month or two.

What about the Settings Editor?
It is not working anymore. I'd like to be able to customize my settings again. :(

This is too long and battlelog programmers are boring.

how soon is soon ?
and will the new setting editor have a soft/hard brake like the last one ?!
(sort of stopped working after the last 2 patches.)

It's a shame about this tool has it was the best but no updates mean we cant use it, i have had to use another editor.

This is free guys, if you cant do a better job creating these programs to suit your needs yourself, then you should not be whining about how entitled you are to having your grubby little hands all over it.

No offense intended, but try and have some perspective, and try to exercise a little patience. Please.

A little update from the devs would probably go a long way. I'm interested in the tools and I am waiting patiently. However, when the last update was a month ago that said "coming soon" you have to expect some people will get riled up. I was a dev on a BF1942 mod team years ago and yes things take time and it will get done when it gets done, but we never said "coming soon" unless we were ready to deploy within seven days.

you need so much time for your "big update", i'm sure when it is released the next bf3-update will make it unusable again in a very short time

Yes we need to hear from you guys cause it feels like this isnt being worked on anymore.

A new one for Armored kill would be nice, gunship adds more separate keybinds to the mix

If I could install "better battlelog" plugin(BBlog) and Battlelog Plus I would use this tool any day but I miss those while using a standart(but fast and low ram) battlelog.
Do you consider adding an option to add firefox\chrome addon and support it? or asking those two(BBlog&plus) to make a special one for your tool?

are you going to do an updated bf3 setting editor with the new gunship key assignments included ideally in their own tab ?

id be very pleased if you did so i can reconfigure the keys properly
dice cant seem to do it for us

One year since we've heard a peep from these guys. You may all consider these projects to be officially dead.

It's been a year since they made this up date: they either don't care what anyone thinks or they're spending time preparing to wow us with an update.

I really hope they'll decide to make it the latter.

They were working on BF4 Settings Editor as of recently. I can't get Battlelog Standalone to work in Windows 8. Hopefully they can look into this before long as BF4 is right around the corner :D

Still not updated for Win 8 or BF4, shame this would have been a great help. I hope you do update this. Thanks for BF4 settings editor anyways.

I Said That I do not -have that file and when to I search with reggedit Realmware the folder is not there .
